Ash has over 15 years’ experience as an Environmental Specialist within the oil and gas industry, mining industry, and consulting environments. Before he found his feet as an environmental specialist he was a traveling musician, pearl farmer, and assistant beer brewer. These experiences honed his now excellent communication skills and enable him to communicate difficult environmental legislation or engineering jargon into simple English for people with a non-technical background. Throughout Ashley’s career, he has used this skill to successfully consult with a wide range of stakeholders including government departments, community members, employees, and contractors. Ash started AES in 2013 as a solopreneur and started growing the business in 2019. In 2024 AES was acquired by EHS Support.
